This made me feel so much less anxious about the process.

One question: on weekends and when we’re home together, we can work through these scaffolds at our own pace, but at preschool, our kiddo attempts (and often fails) at wiping on her own. There are tears and skid marks aplenty. Any advice for navigating the school vs. home saga?

Then it sounds like it’s not the right activity for you child!

This makes so much sense and explains why he has shown no interest. He hasn’t the least bit of idea where to start. The process is amazing and even when training adults on the job I use the same building understanding (the why) and scaffolding (the how) type method. It creates so much success!

We are not a shy family, so I am looking forward to starting ground work with my pooping audience. The next question, since the dog and cat join the tiny bathroom party, do you think this could get them toilet trained or scooping up after themselves?

You are a hero among women!

Maybe . But I worry that a box like might be overstimulating , to a less than 1 year toddler , with so much colors and stuff . Because a lot of stuffed animals toys have music boxes inside with parts that also move . And going from one source of vivid stimulation to the next so quickly might be confusing to the child .

We were never in a car for this trip so no, no car seats needed. We were entirely on trains, planes, busses, and boats!

It seems like you barely ever need a car, but is it never? Thanks for all of this information!!

I was wondering how I was going to entertain our young adults (no grandchildren yet). This sounds awesome! Question: How do you play lollipop golf?
